The diversity of information systems and technologies has led to the creation of a series of processes that seek to ensure the governance and quality of cultural heritage information. This study presents a proposal of the workflow and data flow necessary for information management in the documentation of immovable industrial heritage. For this purpose, we focus on the case of the canning heritage of the Lower Guadiana in Andalusia. The paper also discusses the complexity of data management and the specific skills required for professionals dealing with heritage documentation.
