Almost forty years have passed since the publication of the first data regarding the Barcelonian silversmith José Saderra Blancafort, which mentioned three works whose whereabouts are still unknown. Twenty years were needed to see three further pieces quoted. In 2018 six new objects were named, but a biographical and professional profile was still pending. In this paper we do fulfill this task by providing, for the first time, his second family name Blancafort, the two variants of his personal mark and numerous new biographical data, as well as by compiling his catalogue of works, to which we incorporate eight more pieces.
